What a wonderful day we have celebrated today, a wonderful day at a beautiful beach.  We were the only ones there but I think the weekend could be different.

THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION It might only be Friday 4th November but around us people are already letting off their fireworks.  Must admit that some of the displays are awesome but the noises terrify the animals.  Our three cats are safely inside and I have closed the cat flap for now, just until those bangs and wizzes stop for the night. We have a busy weekend ahead, this week we have been farm sitting, love it.  Out there again tomorrow morning then not sure what is happening.  We will either be staying home so I can do some baking or heading over to Maketu to help with the oil clean up from the stranded Rena (hit the

Hi aussie gal, hope the weather over there is nicer than it has been this side of the Tasman. Daylight saving starts early tomorrow morning, the days will be longer and much better :)
Ah, the good ol' 'Naki; I love your photos of pukekura park. For the heck of it i searched it and found a gorgeous picture of the Japanese hill with the fountain in front.
I love and miss the Naki, with an aged mother to keep an eye on, I don't seem to get there as much as I would like, but when I can, the first stop is at Mokau to get the smell of the fresh salt air and a glimpse of the mountain
TY for the comment
